Your voice counts

You rate the sites, too.

After a shift you can rate the site on safety, how good the briefing was, whether the shift matched its description, how you were treated and whether you were paid on time. That helps other officers decide where to work.

Safety concerns stay private. If something unsafe or inappropriate happens, report it through the private safety report, not a public review. Reports are handled separately and never shown as a rating. In an emergency, call 999 first.

Do I need an SIA licence?

To work licensable security roles in the UK you need the appropriate SIA licence, and shifts will state the qualifications they require. Accredited licence verification is being added before public launch.

Does Guardlane employ me?

No. Guardlane is a marketplace that helps you find and work shifts. The shift provider is responsible for the terms of the engagement. It doesn't guarantee hours or income.

Is my location tracked all the time?

No. Location is used during a duty session to confirm you're at the site. It isn't used when you're off duty, and location history is deleted after a set retention period.

How do I get paid?

Each shift shows a payment timeline. Live payouts to your bank are being connected before public launch, so right now you'll see the status of a payment rather than money arriving through Guardlane.
